Comment 5 andreschnabel 2003-05-24 19:44:39 UTC
The example for today (05-24) seems to be the best I can get from
webinterface.
Issues are sorted by votes, but votes ar not displayed (have to enable
cookies, don't know how to do that with lynx).
The HTML ist not valid, </tr> is missing.

to get better results, the script has to be done in a more powerfull
language (perl / python ?)
Comment 6 andreschnabel 2003-05-24 19:46:06 UTC
i could run the script weekly and send the plain output to anyone who
can put it on the website.
Comment 7 andreschnabel 2003-06-14 11:16:01 UTC
seems to be of no interest -> won't fix

I think this is very important. We need to have a "Bug Parade"
of the top 50 bugs (and separately, the top 50 RFE's).

However, for this to be useful, we must also make it easier for people
to vote. For instance, I have the power to reopen this issue,
but I don't seem to have the power to vote!

Comment 10 andreschnabel 2003-06-16 06:45:03 UTC
right, i cannot vote for this issue, too.
But because i can vote for almost all other issues, this may be a
feature of the component.
Dan: could you check that with an writer issue?
Comment 11 dankegel 2003-06-17 15:17:27 UTC
Looks like users can vote for writer issues.
Somebody needs to enable voting for this category of issue.

I've opened issue 15728 to directly ask for IssueZilla to
allow sorting by number of votes. May as well ask for that, too.
Comment 12 stx123 2003-06-17 16:11:22 UTC
Hi,
Issue Voting has to be enabled per component. At the moment only
components for projects directly contributing code have voting enabled.
If you see a need to enable additional components for voting, please
file an issue mentioning those.
Please use the component "qa" (you can't vote there :-)
Greetings, Stefan

Now that I know the secret, I can generate the list of issues
you're looking for without any changes to Issuezilla.
