Description peterthevicar 2003-05-13 19:25:04 UTC
Opening the rtf file at the url above give a nice clean page with MS Word Viewer
or MS Word. In OOo there are spurious numbers down the left margin. This is a
small extract from a minutes file that caused some confusion when sent to MS users.

Bug appears (at least) in OOo 1.0 on Windows and OOo 1.1Beta on Linux.

The file
(http://homepage.ntlworld.com/salisburys/OpenOffice/rtfbug.rtf) is
also displayed correctly by the Linux KDE wordprocessor Kword

Should have said this issue is on Linux, don't know if it applies to
Windows.

The font concerned was taken from Windows to Linux (happens with
Elementary, Optimum and many others) but this also applies to the
Times font on Linux.

Interestingly it does NOT occur with Arial, Times New Roman, Comic
Sans, Tahoma which are presumably more complete fonts?
