The attached file (which opens fine in OOo 1.0.1) causes 1.1 Beta to crash on
start. Here is the command line and the output:

~$ .OpenOffice.org1.1Beta/soffice tmp/brief.ppt
/opt/OpenOffice.org644/program/soffice.bin: relocation error:

What version of glibc are you using? This is said to be a glibc
bug. See issues 10210 and 11706. Also, does running openoffice with
the command

env LD_BIND_NOW=yes ooffice

help?
Comment 4 dankegel 2003-05-15 08:42:54 UTC
If it's not the glibc bug, we can reopen it.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 10210 ***

My libc6 version is 2.3.1-17.

If I 'export LD_BIND_NOW=yes', before launching OpenOffice and opening
the file, it works correctly.
