Description Unknown 2003-04-06 20:29:06 UTC
I'm having an annoying bug. When I delete an image which I've inserted into
the document. if lets say I've put an image on page 10, then I've decided to
remove it by selecting it with the mouse then hitting Delete on the keyboard,
the text cursor jumps to the begining of the document. The same thing happens
if we do Edit->Cut or any function to remove the image, the cursor jumps to
the begining of the docuemnt.

I'd like this bug to be reopened. The bug title still stands but the behavior
has changed :
Testcase :
- Open a brand new writer document
- type "text 1" on page 1 then <page jump>
- type "text 2" on page 2 then <page jump>
- type "text 3" on page 3
- Go to page 2 and insert an image below "text 2"
Now pay attention, here's the trick :
- delete the image and press "page down" immediatly after

Tadaaaa !!! When you pressed "page down", you jumped to page 3 but half a
second afterwards, OOo brings you back to page 2, where the image was deleted.

This test case might sound ridiculous but it is a real bug which becomes
really annonying when you use big documents and have to deal with a lot of
images.

It's interesting to note that this behavior doesn't happen if you go up ("page
up") in the document instead of going down ("page down").

What do you think ?
Should I open a new bug ? I think that this behavior is a consequence to the
correction of this bug no ?

I use OOo 1.1.1 on Debian unstable.
