Description Oliver Brinzing 2003-03-20 17:27:03 UTC
I noticed a strange behaviour when using enumeration and
tabulators ...

Open a new writer document and insert (Minus) (Space) Hello (Enter)

You get an automatic nummeration like

- Hello
-

Now press (Backspace) to clear the (Minus)
and insert

- Hello
  (Strg Tab) TEST1 (Tab) TEST2 (Shift Enter)
       (Tab) TEST3 (Tab) TEST4 (Shift Enter)
       (Tab) TEST5 (Tab) TEST6 (Enter)

The result is:

- Hello
      -> TEST1  -> TEST2
  .TEST3  -> TEST4
  .TEST5  -> TEST6

The two last tabs are replaced with spaces ?
Is this a normal behavior ?

Ciao

Oliver

Hi Brinzing,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice...

This behaviour depends on your settings:

     Tools -> AutoCorrect/AutoFormat shows you a dialog.

In this dialog you can switch if leading tabs and spaces of a line
should be deleted...

I hope this helps you...
