I changed priority of the issue because I think, after some consideration, that the problem is "basic functionality not working correctly". Problem reproduced in 1.1Beta. Reassigned to ES NEW ES->OS: tested also with non breaking hyphen -> hyphen is not displayd in the reference. ES->pawelb: well priority rating is sometimes a fine tuning... "basic functionality" means here: you can't open documents, make keyboard selection save and so on. So cross-references are not part of this base functionality pool and the problem "only" occures with protected spaces. ->P3 . To duplicate a problem in 644m4: 1. define some text containing non-breaking space as a cross-reference e.g. "testref", 2. insert a reference to it ("Insert\Cross-reference\References\Insert reference\testref\Reference"). Non-breaking space is visible as an infinite number of spaces, text after it is not visible at-all. In 644m1 situation was much less severe: non-breaking spaces were displayed as double spaces.
