Hello, folks,

Thank you for providing the valuable office suite.

The macro edit window (Tools->Macros->Macro...->Edit) does not
close when File->Close is selected.
The window closes when the window manager's close button is
clicked.

This issue occurs with 644m4 on Windows2000 and RedHat8.0.

OS->TBE: Your problem?
Comment 2 thomas.benisch 2003-03-06 13:36:40 UTC
TBE: The File/Close menu item is disabled in the Basic IDE.
Comment 3 Frank Schönheit 2003-03-06 13:39:40 UTC
cc'ing MMP - he spec'ed the file/window/close/exit/backing-window feature.

I consider File/Close a problem in the context of the Basic IDE -
finally, if you are editing the macros of a document, then /File/
*may* have a different meaning than when you edit global macros. But
this would be hard to communicate.

Matthias, do you have an opinion about this? If so, are there chances
to update the spec with this issue, and target this for "1.1 Beta 2"?

TBE->MBA: As discussed, I send this issue to you.
