In the draw component, after placing a blank chart on a blank document:

After double-clicking to edit the chart, the embedded object becomes active, and
the chart can be edited.

It is not possible to exit the edit mode of the chart by cilcking outside of the
object (blank canvas)..

Thank you for your help, but this issue is already known and fixed in
a current internal version. It will be corrected in the next OO version.
