I get this error as well (the sequence number varies) a few seconds after starting soffice. I'm using the 1.0.2 binary distibution installed into /usr/local/OpenOffice/. My setup is RH 7.1 (glibc 2.2.4), XFree86 4.2.99.3 (built w/ gcc 3.2.1), kernel 2.4.20-preempt. Sounds nasty... but might be an X server problem. I've run into those on Debian 3.0 myself; sometimes it's a bad font. Can you try a fresh install of the latest version of your Linux distribution, plus a fresh install of OpenOffice1.1beta2 or later? Thanks! Hi jehojakim, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice... I'm using openOffice with linux and Soöaris and never had this problem... Please try again with our newest version and send a new comment if your problem occurs again... If there's no new comment until 09/26/2003 this Issue will be closed... reassigned to mci@openoffice.org set to worksforme... I didn't get the error in the 1.1 branches. Should I have reported this earlier? Thanks anyway for solving! jehojakim closing... |
