Description geki 2009-12-30 03:23:36 UTC
Okay, (sub)component may be wrong, sorry! No idea where to put from the
component list.
___
Well, more of a wish than an enhancement. ;)

Unlike stated on URL it seems not to be removed from Gecko 1.9.2, at least beta5.

This is only for OOo built against the system browser - so any Linux Distribution.
But AFAIR OOo's internal mozilla version is 1.7.5. That would make use of
NPRuntime, too.

So it would be a good idea to move to the NPRuntime API sooner or later. Why? ...

1. Remove the OJI "cruft".
2. To be prepared if the Mozilla Developers ever feel like really removing the
old API.

And 3., if I build Firefox without OJI support I get a blank page in the
browser. A well, as expected. ;)

Just an idea. Maybe you can get the Sun Java Mozilla Browser Plugin Developer to
help here?
They ported the plugin already. Since SO/OOo and Java are both Sun products.
