I downloaded and installed openoffice 632 (june 19, 2001).
soffice.exe, simpress.exe, saplcard.exe, sapllabel.exe, sglobal.exe start fine.
swriter.exe, sweb.exe, sdraw.exe, scalc.exe, smath.exe systematicaly crash (even
after reboot) with an error message like :

SOFFICE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff7a125.

My computer is a PC with a PIII/800, 64MB RAM, 20GB HD, system is Win98SE
(v4.10.2222A), Internet Explorer is v5.00.3105.0106 SP1. I don't have Java
Runtime Environment installed.

Thanks for your work

I'm also having a the same problem, I have Windows 98, and I do have a Java
runtime. Not all programs crash, some just hang in the splash screen (same
problem as decribed in Issuezilla #1103).

I have >128Mb or RAM and the machine is running a Celeron 400Mhz.

TM->OF: Here`s another one for you.
Comment 3 Olaf Felka 2001-07-10 15:30:22 UTC
Believe it or not, I don't have this problems (some may think it's my standard
answer). I can start swriter.exe, sweb.exe, sdraw.exe, scalc.exe, smath.exe
without any error message.
I don't think it should matter but is it possible to add more RAM to your machine and try again (off topic: if you would like to spend a little money and
buy another 128MB for you computer you won't think that it's still the same
box you're working on)? My computer has a single stick with 128 MB so i can't
split it:-(
If OO is working with 128MB it's a bug in OO.
