The indic rendering module is not handling split vowels and prebase vowels.
When a consonet and split vowel sign comes prebase par of split vowel over laps
with consonent. Issue is there in Bengla and Malayalam.

DL->HDU: Would you please check this?
Comment 2 hdu@apache.org 2003-05-21 07:49:18 UTC
HDU->AMIN00: A lot happened with the related code recently. Could you
please verify the problem is still there in a recent build?

I have seen some similar problems for the Tamil language with
1.1Beta2(Linux) as filed in issue 15013.

Only the 3 "Two-part dependent vowel signs" (0x0BCA, 0x0BCA, and
0x0BCC) as mentioned in page 3 here
http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0B80.pdf cause rendering (incorrect
spacing?) problems.

I am not sure if the problem mentioned in this issue has anything to
do with the Tamil two-part dependent vowel sign problem.

The prob is still there. I tried version 644. As metioned in another
comment below the issue affects other india languages too.

reassign back to hdu.

mh->armin00, manmathan: can you confirm that this is still an issue for 1.1 and
680 builds ?

Closing. Reopen if it is still a problem in 2.0.2
