Egia esan ez. Gertatzen dena zera da, Math-ek gai batzuetan -adibidez, ekonomian- ohikoak diren letra anitzetako aldagaiak erabiltzen dituela. Araua hau da: aldagaia letra, zenbaki eta puntuen segidaz osatuta dago (lehenengo karaktereak ezin du punturik eduki).
Beraz, 3xy sartzean – aldagaitzat hartzen da eta aldagaiak letra etzanean idazten dira. Gauza arraro bakarra aldagaia zenbaki batez has daitekeela da.
